I am pleased to announce the Patreon release of project p1.17.2! Now that decryption is alive and well, this version includes a major update to the cataloging engine. These changes include:

• The addition of saving title, plot, and actor/actress metadata in original language.
• The refactoring of the ‘--update-only’ flag to properly update only metadata which is missing.
• The addition of the ‘--cleanup-files’ flag which will intelligently attempt to remove incorrectly named files (images, nfo, trailers, etc) from past scraping attempts. (Note: This flag is potentially data destructive so always backup and do a trial run first.)
• The creation of a fallback endpoint when itch.io services are interrupted.
• A rollup of all bugfixes, backend, and frontend improvements made during the course of normal development.
