In an unsurprising and significant move, one of the Internet's most popular adult video streaming websites (DMM.co.jp) has recently implemented a drastic change in its geo-blocking policy. Previously, the platform had restricted access to specific titles based on the user's geographical location. However, users are now facing even more extensive restrictions, as the website has begun blocking access to its homepage altogether for certain regions. This aggressive approach to geo-blocking signifies a significant shift in the website's content availability, leaving many legitimate paid users disappointed and frustrated. As a result, visitors from affected areas are now unable to explore, buy, and view the website's vast library of content without a proper VPN. While a good VPN seems to resolve these issues, it is unclear how long this will work before DMM clamps down even harder. If you have a paid collection that hasn’t been properly saved, I would urge people to act out now before it becomes too late (remember R18!).
