As you may already know, R18.com, the website that offered non-Japanese users a place to purchase JAV legally for years, is now officially closed. Unfortunately, this closure means that users who did not act in time lost their entire JAV collection. However, there is still hope! For users who are looking to rebuild their libraries and want to preserve rare titles that may become desisted in the future, DMM.co.jp still remains open! With an even larger back-catalog, support for regular, 4K, and subscription place-shifting, users still have the opportunity to legally "Jav-It" titles they lost and preserve them (This time, hopefully in advance before anyone can take it away).

Due to the older Itch.io version of Jav-It only being compatible with R18, downloading from that source has now been removed from the tool. In addition, to ensure that users of the Itch.io branch still can scrape titles, the older engine has been updated to include basic JavTrailer scraping functionality.
